At what age should my child see an orthodontist?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an initial evaluation around age 7. That doesn’t always mean treatment is needed right away, but it allows us to monitor growth and plan the right timing if braces or other treatment will be helpful.
Do I need a referral from my dentist?
Many patients are referred by their general dentist, but a referral is not required. You’re welcome to schedule a new patient visit directly with our office.
How long does orthodontic treatment usually take?
Every smile is unique, but most comprehensive treatments last between 12 and 24 months. At your consultation, Dr. [Last Name] will give you a personalized timeline based on your goals and treatment plan.
Will braces or aligners hurt?
